Prof. Coiro is full professor at Department of Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Division at University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. He is author of more than 100 papers published in international journals and conferences. He works in the field of Wind and Ocean Energy since 1990 and he has coordinated the design and development of several horizontal and vertical axis wind and hydro turbines. He is author of several patents. He is the founder and president of the non-profit applied research public/private consortium SEAPOWER www.seapowerscrl.com participated by University of Naples. SEAPOWER develops devices for ocean (tidal and wave) and wind energy.
