The first co-creation workshop on Gender Equality in the Blue Economy organized within the WINBLUE project was held in ANFACO last May 9. A heterogeneous group of profesionals who work in the blue economy attended the event. Thus, people from the industry, the administration, shellfish harvesters, mussel rafts owners, foundations and associations came together. The workshop began with a brief presentation of the project and examples of good practices. Next, a SWOT analysis was carried out to lay the foundations for gender equality in the blue economy to continue with a design thinking dynamic, exploring ideas in the fishing and aquaculture sector. Finally, after extracting the main conclusions, we shared these and proposals for improvement actions with ASSOITTICA, our partner in Italy.
