Description:Our seas and oceans offer a vast renewable energy resource. The marine environment is an enormous pool of energy which, according to the European Commission, globally exceeds the present and projected future energy needs. For this reason, the development of technologies to exploit the great energy potential of our seas and ocean, e.g. by means of offshore wind energy, is unstoppable. Nevertheless, there are challenges to meet and problems to overcome. Research and innovation in this field are still needed. The contribution of all the different stakeholders in the society is required to achieve the best and most responsible solutions amongst all possible ones. Would you like to contribute to shape them? Join our Mobilisation and Mutual Learning Workshop!
